His expertise and passion for sports inspire our students to pursue excellence in athletics while fostering discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

Achievements in Sports
– Received Arjuna Award in 1992 for his contribution to Indian Archery
– Honored with Dronacharya Award in 2007
– Two-time Olympian
– Mentored and trained archers who have won over 200 medals internationally
– Served as High Performance Director from 2021-2023, leading the Indian archery team to win 201 medals (88 Gold, 63 Silver, 50 Bronze)
– Awarded Shiv Gaurav Puraskar in 2020 and Birsa Munda Award in 2007
– Distinguished Alumnus Award from BIT Mesra in 2021
– Nominated for Padamshri in 2022
